The Revisionist History Series started after "B*coming", borne of my desire to fix the mess Joss Whedon left behind. I had no real intention of starting an ongoing series of revised episodes, but then That Evil Man (TM) laid Season Three on us, and he left me no choice but to clean up after him.

I hope you enjoy them, but please keep in mind three things.

  1. They are not overly beta-read. I do *try* to get these out as quickly as possible, so they may be a bit raw.
  2. They are particularly violent. I always go with my first impulse after seeing the ep when I write these, so the more aggravated I am, the bloodier things get.
  3. Each story is its own "mini-universe". The stories are not connected in any way; they each exist separately.

Revisionist History I

RATED PG-13. Damage control for "Becoming", Part II.

Revisionist History II -- Dead Man's Lament

RATED R. The Argument, from "Dead Man's Party", corrected so that Certain People get what's coming to them.

Revisionist History III -- A Woman's Remorse

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Homecoming". I'm fixing Joss' stupidity. Again. Angel reacts to Buffy dropping the bomb. (Buffy/Angel)

Revisionist History IV -- Just Like Old Times Coming Eventually!

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Band Candy". What happened to Ethan? And how soon did the candy wear off? And what was the real reason Joyce/Giles wigged Buffy? (Ethan/Ripper/Buffy)

Revisionist History V -- Truths Revealed

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Revelations". There were =many= loose ends left in this ep. This is an attempt to fix most of them.

Chapter One: Just Desserts -- In which Faith gives Xander what he so very richly deserves

Chapter Two: Faith Restored -- In which Faith and Buffy come to a realization

Chapter Three: Someone To Watch Over Me -- In which Buffy and Giles also come to a realization

Chapter Four: Love You To Death -- In which Buffy and Angel have yet another realization

Chapter Five: Just Desserts II -- In which Buffy and Angel pay Xander back for his interference. Coming Eventually!

Revisionist History VI -- Blood and Bone

RATED R. Post "Lovers Walk". Do we really think Angel would have let her just walk away from him? From *them*? <snicker> No way. And remember, he's been re-invited into her house...

Revisionist History VII-- 'Tis The Season

RATED R. Post "Amends". Buffy spends the holiday with *everyone* she cares about.

Revisionist History VIII -- When A Man Loves A Woman

RATED R. Post "Helpless". Giles loves Buffy, but not *precisely* as Pompous Watcher Dude thinks.

Revisionist History IX -- Girl Talk

RATED R. Post "Zeppo". Buffy and Faith get together after the averting of the Apocalypse for a little chat.

Revisionist History X -- The Claiming

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Bad Girls". Buffy's dark side emerges and claimes its mate. (Buffy/Angel)

Revisionist History XI -- It'll Only Take A Minute

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Dopplegangland". When Willow screams for help in the Bronze, Buffy and Angel take a little while to show. Just what were they doing in that alley? (Buffy/Angel)

Revisionist History XII -- Unfinished Business

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Enemies". Do you really have to ask? Buffy whomps Faith, then proves to Angel that she will always be his. (Buffy/Angel)

Revisionist History XIII -- Alpha Bitch

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "Choices". Buffy returns Faith's knife. Then Faith shows Buffy a thing or two about knife handling. [Insert really bad pun here.] (Buffy/Faith)

Revisionist History XIV -- Post-Prom Fallout

RATED NC-17. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. Post "The Prom". What happens after the prom is over?

PROLOGUE -- "Oh, What A Night"
When the music fades, Buffy tries to pull herself together.

CHAPTER 1 -- "Getting On With It"
Wesley is enchanted. And slow. Cordelia gets tired of waiting. So she takes matters into her own hands.

CHAPTER 2 -- "The Revelation"
Giles and Buffy retire to the library for a conversation, the ramifications of which will completely change her life.

CHAPTER 3 -- "A Stern Talking-To"
On his way home to brood, Angel encounters the last person he expects to see.

CHAPTER 4 -- "Emancipation"'
Buffy goes home and overhears Joyce on the phone. A confrontation ensues.

CHAPTER 5 -- "Staking A Claim"
Armed with information from both Giles and Joyce, Buffy tracks Angel to his den and they have it out. In a major way.
